More From Grinding Chemo
Welcome to my recommendations and resources hub.
This is where I’ve pulled together the things that have genuinely helped me get through treatment and life with cancer and the projects I’ve poured my heart into along the way.
GrindingChemo Recommendations
Over time I’ve put together practical lists of items that can make a hospital stay or a long chemo session a little easier. These aren’t just random products, they’re things I’ve personally used or seen make a real difference.

GrindingChemo Etsy Store
Cancer can be heavy, but I’ve always believed in finding ways to show resilience and personality through it. My Etsy shop is home to Grinding Chemo apparel and designs created with that in mind. It’s about comfort, solidarity, and sometimes just having something to wear that says: this is my fight, my way.
Category: Apparel and Accessories
Description:
Brutally honest cancer merch that says what everyone else is too polite to.
Grinding Chemo – unapologetic, real, and sometimes hilarious gear for cancer warriors, survivors, and supporters. Wear it loud. Say it proud.

GrindingChemo Apparel Store
The same unapologetic, brutally honest cancer gear, without the Etsy markup. Both this store and Etsy use print-on-demand, but here I work with a smaller POD company that keeps costs down and (IMO) delivers slightly better quality. That means you get the same designs at a lower price.
The only trade-off is processing time, it can take longer compared to Etsy’s bigger POD service. My advice? If you’re not in a hurry, buy from here.
Lower cost. Great quality. A little extra wait.

My Children's Book - Hope Avenue
One of the projects closest to my heart is Hope Avenue, a children’s book I wrote for families navigating cancer. It’s a gentle way to help explain a hard topic to kids, built on compassion and honesty.
Category: Books
Description:
Hope Avenue is a heartwarming children’s book that sensitively explores the topic of cancer through the eyes of a young family. When their mother is diagnosed with cancer, young Isla and Max face their fears and learn to cope with the challenges ahead. The story emphasizes the importance of family, love, and hope, offering comfort and understanding to young readers who may be going through similar experiences.

Category: Media
Description: Over time I’ve had the chance to share my story beyond this website. You’ll find links here to media I’ve been involved in, from TV and radio interviews, to podcasts, to news stories and advocacy campaigns. Each one is another way I’ve tried to raise awareness, push for change, and show that none of us are too young or too ordinary to be hit with this disease.
